My wife and I came up with the idea for The Luncheon Project when we decided to blog about our networking lunches. We take at least one successful professional to lunch each week and summarize the discussion and lessons learned in a post.

Syd Riggs Foundation

My high school drama teacher, Syd Riggs, was an amazing woman. She passed away right after I graduated, but the Syd Riggs Foundation continues her legacy of arts and education by putting on a concert each year. The proceeds from the concert tickets go to support a scholarship fund given to a high school senior who will pursue higher education in the arts.

The New Hot 5

When his YouTube video, Jazz for Cows, went viral in September 2011, the band leader of The New Hot 5 needed a website. The result is NewHot5.com. It’s an on-going project, and a lot of fun to be a part of.
