If there’s one place I wouldn’t mind living, it’s Park City. I feel like every time I go my blood pressure drops, my stress level halves, and my “Hakuna Matata” attitude returns. There’s really nothing like it. I feel like I can conquer the world, start my own business, manage my life, and get through school. Everything that I’ve managed to blow out of proportion comes back into perspective and I can see the whole picture again–and usually realize that the things I’m stressing over shouldn’t be stressed over. It’s a place to reflect and get your life back in order.
But again, I say all that as an infrequent visitor. I’m sure if I lived there it would be different–although I choose to ignore that fact and still hold on to the dream that we’ll someday own a house there and get free passes to the Sundance Film Festival because we’ll know the right people. In fact, Robert Redford and I will be on a first name basis.
