Importing blog posts into Facebook

The other day I was trying to figure out how to get my blog posts to show up automatically in Facebook. I set it up a few months back, but completely forgot how and didn’t know who to get in and change the settings. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like every time I try to do something like that, Facebook has a new way of getting there. Well I found it. Again.

This time around, I had to go up to the Search bar and search for the Notes app. Once you get there, you’ll see a link on the left side under Subscribe –> Edit Import Settings.

Once there, you can enter the URL of the website or for the feed itself. If you’re looking to track your feeds, refer back to my previous post about using Feedburner. When you save the settings, Facebook will import any new blog posts that come via your blog as notes in Facebook, which will (by default) appear on your wall. In my experience, it usually takes a day or two for new posts to appear on your wall, so don’t despair if it doesn’t appear automatically.

At any time, you can go back and edit the settings, or start importing another blog. As far as I can tell, you can only import one blog at at time. If you know of a way to get two, let me know in the comments!
